(NOT) My First Post

This is NOT my first post. I have tried many times before. Tried writing blogs, like so many of my friends have done. Where they succeeded wonderfully, I failed miserable. Where I went wrong, I never knew. But I know I have things to say. Whether people want to read it, or comment on it, or trash it, doesn't matter. Shouldn't really stop me from saying them anyway. Thanks to my friend Pipit and Keke for their support, this time I will try to NOT stop writing after this post.

So here we go..

I don't care who I offend with this particular blog post but I just can't stand not saying something about this matter. Three first time mothers came to me seeking help and advise on breastfeeding. They saw the pictures I posted on my Facebook wall, pictures of my freezer full of frozen breast milk. This is only in one freezer. There's another one just as full. I told them first and foremost, that I have to thank my mother and my grandmother and my mother's grandmother for passing down the good genes of high level of prolactin hormone. More or Less

At around this time last year, I was 2 months away from Tokyo Marathon so I ran almost every day, even during the end of year holiday. I ran short and long distance, come rain or shine. I did daily cardio, strength training, core training, stretching, and whatnot. So obviously I lost a lot of weight, built muscle, and was toned as well as very tanned. This time around, I am enjoying my holiday immensely. I have been scaling down my running significantly since few weeks ago and am now focusing more on daily yoga practice and meditation. I decided I want to reconnect with my thoughts and emotions as intensely as I did with my physicality last year. I’m taking things really slow this time. So yes obviously I’ve gained some weight, my puffy cheeks are back with a vengeance, and yet I don’t care. I’ve made my peace with it because it is a direct consequence of my own decisions.
